Antisemitism
|
Antisemitism (also spelled anti-semitism or anti-Semitism; also known as Judeophobia) is a term used to describe prejudice against or hostility towards people of Jewish lineage, which is ultimately rooted in, and based upon, an historical religio-cultural aversion to their core ancestral religious beliefs and way of life.
This prejudice or hostility is usually characterized by a combination of religious, racial, cultural and ethnic biases. While the term's etymology might suggest that antisemitism is directed against all Semitic peoples, it has been used exclusively to refer to hostility toward Jews since its initial usage.[1][2]
Antisemitism may be manifested in many ways, ranging from individual expressions of hatred and discrimination against individual Jews to organized violent attacks by mobs or even state police or military attacks on entire Jewish communities. Extreme instances of persecution include the First Crusade of 1096, the expulsion from England in 1290, the Spanish Inquisition, the expulsion from Spain in 1492, the expulsion from Portugal in 1497, various pogroms, and the most infamous, the Holocaust under Adolf Hitler's Nazi Germany.

How to Write a Real Estate Letter Or Brochure
Instructions
Difficulty: Moderately EasyThings You’ll Need:
- Pictures of the property
- A computer
- Software to create brochures
Writing a real estate letter or creating a brochure can by a tricky thing. You can say so much the recipient has no reason to call you or you can say so little that it doesn't even peak their interest. The intention of the letter is to get interest and have them call, then you must do the closing. Before we go to the "what to do," let's take a look at "what not to do." Never, ever pull a bait and switch. That is advertising you have something and then telling the customer it's been sold or rented and showing them something more expensive, less attractive or of poorer quality, than what was advertised. This is not only unethical but illegal and you will never get that customer to come back to you. There are also laws about advertising rates, rentals and rebates. These laws are different depending on location, so check with your state or local to be sure you don't do anything wrong unintentionally.
Step2
If you are writing a letter, get a nice letterhead. You want something bright and friendly. If you don't know your recipients, address it "Dear Friends or Dear Neighbors." Keep the letter positive without being misleading. Point out the best features of your property. Tell them what this property can do or will mean to them. Appeal to the emotions and what is important to people. Let's say your target audience is retired people. Tell them how the property is all one floor and there is community benefits, such as a pool, boating dock, recreation room, among other positive points. Now on the other hand you're writing to families with children. Let them know about the schools near by, the playgrounds, little league and other appealing features.. If you're advertising a resort, point out the best features to your target market. Be descriptive, such as Olympic sized heated pool, instead of just pool, or 25 acres of pristine white sand beachfront, instead of just beachfront. Make them want to be there. Make sure you include all your contact information. Get an 800 number if you don't have one. Don't let your in box get full and have someone's question be returned to them. Add a P.S. , Even if you're not interested right now, please keep my contact information for later or pass it on to a friend. Always ask for the referral, you won't get it if you don't ask. Always include a link to a website with a capture page. This way you know what they are interested in and can continue to send great deals to them.
Step3
A brochure is not much different from a letter. You get to put in pictures, but you don't get to say as much. Most software for creating brochures come with many different templates. Pick the one that will show off your property the best. If you are promoting a resort with a brochure, you will want to take pictures of all the amenities. This works well with retired communities too. Bullet your best features. Include wording like "We have many different rates to fit your budget and need," and then give them a link to your website or make them call or email you for more information. Always remember to not give away so much information they have no reason to contact you.
Step4
Go online and look up color or emotions. This will give you some websites that will tell you what colors mean. Use the color in your brochure or paper you're writing your letter on, that you are trying to make your target market feel. Such as Blue for serenity or calmness for a relaxing beachfront resort. There are also websites that will help you write Headlines that make people want to open email. Be creative, positive and friendly and you will get lots of calls and sales.
