References to Wikipedia in culture have increased as more people learn about and use the online encyclopedia project. Many parody Wikipedia's openness, with characters vandalising or modifying articles. Still others feature characters using the references as a source, or positively comparing a character's intelligence to Wikipedia. Also, the encyclopedia many times is not used as an encyclopedia at all, but instead serves more as a character trait or even as a game. Wikipedia has also become culturally significant with many individuals seeing the presence of a Wikipedia entry as a status symbol.[1] and there is a soon-to-be-released documentary, Truth in Numbers: The Wikipedia Story, which is about Wikipedia, its history, and its impact on culture.[2]

How to Begin a Web Site With FrontPage


Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

Step1
Start the FrontPage 2000 program. From the File menu, choose New, then Web.
Step2
Select a FrontPage web type from the options listed. Click once to see a brief description on the right side of the screen.
Step3
Type the location of the new web on your hard disk and select OK. Choose Add to Current Web if you're creating a "subweb" (a site within a Web site). Click OK.
Step4
Edit or create new pages in the web. Save the web when finished by choosing Save As from the File menu.
